Lab Express provides over 2,000 specimen collections for diagnostic testing and screening. You can expect the highest confidential, prompt, professional service and curteous customer service.
How does a Lab test work?
Relax. When you come into Lab Express you will be greeted by our friendly and courteous staff. All you need to do is to provide the specimen that we will analyze, which might be a small sample of blood, saliva, semen, or urine, or a sample of stool or hair. We will make sure your experience is pleasant, private, and personal.
How do I get ready for the Lab work?
Please check with your doctor to see what test is being done. Some tests require fasting, not eating any foods for serveral hours prior to the blood test. You should receive written instructions from your doctor. Please follow the doctor's instructions carefully. If for whatever reason you were unable to follow the doctor's instructions, let the Lab Express staff know before they collect your sample.
Do I need Lab paperwork?
- You will not need a lab requisition unless you're using insurance
- A photo ID
What about Minors?
Minors need to come with their parent or legal guardian.
A notarized statement signed by a parent or legal guardian will authorize a third person for the collection and billing of the tests ordered for a minor.
How do I get my results?
If your doctor ordered the tests, your doctor or his staff will contact you. If you requested the test, Lab Express will either mail, fax, or you can pick up the results at the Lab when they are ready.
How long does it take to get results?
Some tests results are available within hours, while others may take several days, depending on the type of test required.
